Hailing from the small bayou town of Franklin, LA, painter Rebecca Rebouche has long been influenced by her Southern upbringing and the flora and fauna of the natural world. After school at Louisiana Tech University and brief stints in film and advertising, her interests led her home to New Orleans. She got her start on the road, gypsy-style, showing at art festivals across the country. In just a few short years she amassed a loyal following on her blog and gained a long list of collectors with her beloved original works and family tree paintings. Rebecca now helms a bustling studio in rural Louisiana where she and her team create magic and wonder with her paintings and drawings which are featured on products for Anthropologie, and sold as prints and other home decor online. She can often be found traveling the world for inspiration, or painting in her treehouse in the woods, or at her corner-store atelier in New Orleans. Viewing her portfolio is like stepping into her dreams, while her blog reads like a found diary.
